IN THE MATTER OF THE

certified bargaining agent.

WHEREAS the Canada Industrial Relations Board (the Board), by order no. 10970-U dated March 10, 2016, certified the Public Service Alliance of Canada as the bargaining agent for a unit of employees of the Victoria Airport Authority comprised of:

all employees of the Victoria Airport Authority, excluding President and CEO; Executive Assistant; Director, Security and Terminal Operations; Chief Financial Officer; Manager, Finance and Accounting; Manager, Human Resources; Payroll and Human Resources Administrator; Director, Facilities; Vice-President, Operations & Development; Director, Operations and Safety; Manager, Safety and Emergency Services; and students;

AND WHEREAS the Board has received an application from the applicant, pursuant to section 18 of the Canada Labour Code (Part I–Industrial Relations) (the Code), seeking to amend the said order by removing the position of Vice-President, Operations & Development from the bargaining unit description and adding the position of Director, Business Development & Community Relations to the list of exclusions;

AND WHEREAS the certified bargaining agent is not opposed to this application;

AND WHEREAS, following investigation of the application and consideration of the submissions of the parties concerned, the Board has determined that it is appropriate to grant the application;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Board hereby declares that the Public Service Alliance of Canada is the bargaining agent for a bargaining unit comprising:

all employees of the Victoria Airport Authority, excluding President and CEO; Executive Assistant; Director, Security and Terminal Operations; Chief Financial Officer; Manager, Finance and Accounting; Manager, Human Resources; Payroll and Human Resources Administrator; Director, Facilities; Director, Business Development & Community Relations; Director, Operations and Safety; Manager, Safety and Emergency Services; and students.
