ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATION On May 11, 2018, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO (“Union”) filed a petition pursuant to § 1-02(u) of the Rules of the Office of Collective Bargaining (Rules of the City of New York, Title 61, Chapter 1) requesting that the title Crime Analyst (Title Code No. 31175) be accreted to Certification No. 46D-75, the Accounting and EDP bargaining unit. Notice of this petition was given to the public and the City of New York, and no objections were filed. On July 24, 2018, the parties stipulated that all positions in the Crime Analyst title are eligible for collective bargaining. The Board of Certification is
11 OCB2d 14 (BOC 2018) 2 satisfied that no evidence was presented to rebut the Union’s assertion that Crime Analysts have a sufficient community of interest with the members of its bargaining unit. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law (New York City Administrative Code, Title 12, Chapter 3), it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 46D-75 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to add the title Crime Analyst (Title Code No. 31175), subject to existing contracts, if any.
