AND ITS AFFILIATED LOCAL 375, RE-16-70 DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO RU-172-70 -and-RU-184-70 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --X C E R T I F I C A T I O N S On April 17, 1970, the City filed a motion pursuant to Rule 2.18, to consolidate a number of certifications held by District Council 37 and its affiliated Local 375, covering various engineering, planning, scientific and related titles (Case No. RE-16-70). Pending at that time were motions filed by Local 375, District Council 37, to merge Certifications CWR-50-67 and 9 NYCDL No. 3, and to add certain titles thereto (Case No. RU-172-70), and by District Council 37 to add certain titles to Certification CWR-25-67 (Case No. RU-184-70). Following numerous conferences, the parties consented to the following consolidations, with the additional titles noted, and including all employees in restored Rule X titles equated thereto.

RE-16-70, RU-172-70, RU-184-70 3 Upon our own investigation, we find and conclude that the proposed consolidations will effectuate the purposes and policies of the New York City Collective Bargaining Law; that the titles in the groups specified above constitute a unit appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining; and that District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, and its affiliated Local 375, are the duly designated representatives for the purposes of collective bargaining of a majority of the employees in the titles included in each of the aforesaid groups. C E R T I F I C A T I O N S Pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby CERTIFIED, that District Council 37, AFSCHE, AFL-CIO, and its affiliated Local 375, are the exclusive representatives for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Principal Illustrators, Sr. Principal Illustrators, Assistant Superintendents of Construction, Superintendents of Construction, General Superintendents of Construction, General Superintendents of Construction (Health Facilities), Construction Managers, Construction Managers (Health Facilities), Assistant Supervisors of Mechanical Installations, Supervisors of Mechanical Installations, Senior Supervisors of Mechanical Installations, Chief Supervisors of Mechanical Installations, Assistant Supervisors of Electrical Installations, Supervisors of Electrical Installations, Assistant Superintendents of Construction and Repairs, Superintendents of Construction and Repairs, General Superintendents of Construction and Repairs, Highway Transportation Specialists, Senior Highway Transportation Specialists, and those employees in restored Rule X titles serving in positions equated thereto, employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification, subject to existing contracts, if any, and it is further
