RE-122-80 COMMUNICATIONS WORKERS OF AMERICA AFL-CIO Respondent X DECISION AND ORDER On July 29, 1980, the Office of Municipal Labor Relations of the City of New York filed its petition herein, requesting the deletion of the titles of Traffic Control Agent and Parking Compliance Agent (CETA) from Certification No. 25-74 (as amended • by Decisions 33-75 and 3-79)* and the deletion of the titles of Supervising Parking Enforcement Agent and Principal Parking Enforcement Agent from Certification No. 26-74 (as amended by Decisions 3-79 and 18-80)* on the ground that these titles are vacant and obsolete. In a telephone communication on September 12, 1980, a representative of Communications Workers of America, AFL-CIO, the certified representative of both units, stated that the Union has no objection to this petition. Moreover, our investigation confirms Petitioner's allegations. Accordingly, we shall grant the City's petition. Certification No. 25-74 (as amended)covers a non-supervisory parking and traffic enforcement unit, and • Certification No. 26-74 (as amended) covers the supervisory counterpart unit.
Decision No. 32-80 Docket No. RE-122-80 • ORDER NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 25-74 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting there from the titles of Parking Compliance Agent (CETA) and Traffic Control Agent; and Certification No. 26-74 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting therefrom the titles of Supervising Parking Enforcement Agent and Principal Parking Enforcement Agent, subject to existing contracts, if any.
