Ru-249-71 -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - X ORDER AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE An election having been conducted in the above matter on June 25, 1971, pursuant to the Direction of Election herein (Decision No.34-71), and it appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a collective bargaining representative has been selected, and no objections having been filed by any of the parties within the time provided therefor; And the parties having further stipulated, subject to the approval of the Board, that if said employees vote in favor of representation by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, they shall be merged into a new unit including the titles now covered by Certificates CWR-2/67, 8 NYCDL No.123, 9 NYCDL No.31, and 9 NYCDL No.32, presently held by said Union; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby

ORDERED, that, in accordance with the stipulation of the parties, the employees in the various statistician titles are deemed merged and included in Certificates CWR-2/67, 8 NYCDL No.123, 9 NYCDL No.31, and 9 NYCDL No.32; and it is further ORDERED, that the foregoing Certifications be, and the same hereby are, superseded by the within Certification which shall be identified and be known as "Decision No. 59-71"; and it is hereby CERTIFIED that District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Statistician Trainees, Assistant Statisticians, Statisticians, Senior Statisticians, Principal Statisticians, Assistant Accountants, Accountants, Senior Accountants, Senior Accountants (Group Chief), Supervising Accountants, and employees in restored Rule X titles who are serving in positions equated to the cited Rule XI - Rule XII titles, employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification, and subject to existing contracts, if any.
