Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - X In the Matter of CITY EMPLOYEES UNION, LOCAL 237, INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF DECISION NO. 46-71 TEAMSTERS DOCKET NO. RU-227-70 -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - X DECISION, ORDER AND AMENDED CERTIFICATION On April 12, 1971, the Board issued Decision No.28-71 in the above matter, directing an election among Program Production Assistants (Radio) to determine whether or not they wished to be represented for the purposes of collective bargaining by Petitioner. Subsequently, the two employees in this title submitted affidavits designating and selecting City Employees Union, Local 237, I.B.T., as their exclusive bargaining representative. Upon application of the Union, and by reason of the unequivocal designation by the two employees in an affidavit executed by them, the need for a secret ballot election is dispensed with and we shall, therefore, rescind the Direction of Election herein and add the petitioned employees to Certification No.71-68, as provided in Decision No.28-71.
Decision No. 46-71 Docket No. RU-227-70 2. 0 R D E R Pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that the direction of election contained in Decision No.28-71 be, and the same hereby is, rescinded; and it is further ORDERED that Certification No.71-68 be, and the same hereby is, amended to include the title of Program Production Assistant (Radio); and, as amended, such unit shall consist of Program Production Assistants (Radio), Audience Promotion Assistants, Continuity Writers, Script Writers, Assistant Musical Supervisors, and Broadcast Traffic Assistants.
