RU-209-70 -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - X ORDER AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE Elections having been conducted in the above matter on April 16, 1971, pursuant to the agreement for consent elections herein, and it appearing from the Reports Upon Secret Ballot that a collective bargaining representative has been selected; And the parties having further stipulated, subject to the approval of the Board, that if Senior Demolition Inspectors and restored Rule X equivalents vote in favor of representation by Real Estate Local 1219, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, they shall be added to the Demolition Inspectors, previously certified to Local 1219, to form a new non-supervisory unit; And it further appearing from the Reports Upon Secret Ballot that neither of the Supervising Demolition Inspectors voted in said elections; and No objections having been filed within the time provided therefor;

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that Supervising Demolition Inspectors be and shall remain in the separate unit covered by Certification 9 NYCDL No.28 held by Local 1219, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO; and it is CERTIFIED, that Real Estate Local 1219, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Demolition Inspectors, Senior Demolition Inspectors, and restored Rule X employees serving in positions equated thereto, employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification, subject to existing contracts, if any.
