RU-178-70 DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC AGENCIES -and-BERNARD BARUCH COLLEGE, CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - x DECISION AND ORDER On April 29, 1971, at a pre-election conference held at the offices of the Board, attended by all interested parties, the attorneys representing Local 32b, Service Employees International Union, AFL-CIO, advised that their client did not wish to appear on the ballot in the representation election to be conducted in this matter and submitted a letter dated April 29, 1971, to Anthony A. Tivoli, Director of Elections, requesting the Board that Local 32B, SEIU, AFL-CIO, not be placed on the ballot in the forthcoming election scheduled for May 25, 1971. All parties were served with said written request and no opposition was expressed thereto. Upon consideration of said written request and upon the entire record herein, the request is granted.
DECISION No. 33-71 DOCKET NO. RU-178-70 2 Pursuant to the power vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby 0 R D E R E D , that the request of Local 32B, Service Employees International Union, AFL-CIO, not to be placed on the ballot in the forthcoming election in the above matter, scheduled for May 25, 1971, be, and the same hereby is, granted, and the name of Local 32B, Service Employees International Union, AFL-CIO, shall not be placed on the ballot tn said election; and it is further 0 R D E R E D , that in all other respects, except as herein provided, the Decision, Order and Direction of Election, dated March 24, 1971, be and the same hereby is, affirmed.
