City, 6 OCB 84 (BOC 1970) [Decision No. 84-70 (Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION In the Matter of ASSOCIATION OF LAW ASSISTANTS OF THE DECISION NO. 84-70 CIVIL, CRIMINAL AND FAMILY COURTS -and-DOCKET NO. RU-230-70 JUDICIAL CONFERENCE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK DECISION AND ORDER Association of Law Assistants of the Civil, Criminal and Family Courts filed an application to amend a certification previously issued to Association of opinion Clerks of the Civil Court, as collective bargaining representative of Law Assistants I, employed in the Judicial Conference of the State of New York (9 NYCDL No.36), to reflect the change of name of the certified organization. It appears from our investigation, that the change of name of Association of Opinion Clerks of the Civil Court to Association of Law Assistants of the Civil, Criminal and Family Courts was duly approved at a meeting of the membership of that Association. A no-strike affirmation has been filed, as required by law, under the new name. Accordingly, the application to amend the certification will be granted.
Decision No. 84-70 Docket No. RU-230-70 2. 0 R D E R Pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that Certification 9 NYCDL No.36 be, and the same hereby is, amended by substituting "Association of Law Assistants of the Civil, Criminal and Family Courts" for "Association of Opinion Clerks of the Civil Courts" in said certification.
