RU-188-70 -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -X CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE The parties herein having agreed that Foremen Blacksmiths, Blacksmiths, Blacksmith's Helpers, Foremen Boiler Makers, Boiler Makers, and Boiler Maker's Helpers constitute a unit appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining; and the Foremen Boiler Maker, the only supervisory employee here concerned, having submitted an affidavit electing to be represented in a combined unit of supervisory and non-supervisory employees; And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board of Certification that a majority of the employees in the unit have demonstrated their desire to be represented by International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Shipbuilders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers, Local Lodge No.5, by having authorized check-off of dues in behalf of said organization;

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law it is hereby CERTIFIED, that International Brotherhood of Boiler-makers, Iron Shipbuilders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers, Local Lodge No.5 is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Foremen Blacksmiths, Blacksmiths, Blacksmith's Helpers, Foremen Boiler Makers, Boiler Makers, and Boiler Maker's Helpers employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification.
