City, 6 OCB 75 (BOC 1970) [Decision No. 75-70 (Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAININ BOARD OF CERTIFICATION In the Matter of DEPUTY SHERIFFS' ASSOCIATION AND SENIOR DEPUTY SHERIFFS' ASSOCIATION, DECISION NO.75-70 jointly -and-DOCKET NO. RU-170-70 THE CITY OF NEW YORK CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE An election having been conducted in the above matter on October 16, 1970, pursuant to the agreement for Consent Election herein, and it appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a majority of the Supervising Deputy Sheriffs casting valid ballots in said election have voted against inclusion in a combined collective bargaining unit of Supervising Deputy Sheriffs, Senior Deputy Sheriffs, and Deputy Sheriffs; and no objections having been filed within the time provided therefor; And it further appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a majority of the Supervising Deputy Sheriffs casting valid ballots voted in favor of representation by Deputy Sheriffs' Association and Senior Deputy Sheriffs' Association, jointly;

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby CERTIFIED, that Deputy Sheriffs' Association and Senior Deputy Sheriffs' Association, jointly, are the exclusive representatives for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Supervising Deputy Sheriffs (except the Supervising Deputy Sheriff in charge of the Richmond County Office).
