CEU, L.237, IBT, 6 OCB 46 (BOC 1970) [Decision No. 46-70 (Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION In the Matter of THE CITY OF NEW YORK DECISION NO. 46-70 -and-CITY EMPLOYEES UNION, LOCAL 237, IBT DOCKET NO. RE-13-69 ORDER CONSOLIDATING CERTIFICATIONS A self-determination election having been conducted in the above matter on June 17, 1970, pursuant to the Direction of Election herein (Decision No.16-70), and it appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a majority of the Senior X-Ray Technicians, Senior Radiation Technicians, Supervisors of X-Ray Technician Services, and employees in restored Rule X titles who are serving in positions equated thereto, casting valid ballots in said election, have voted in favor of inclusion in a combined collective bargaining unit of Electrocardiograph Technicians, Electroencephalograph Technicians, X-Ray Technicians, Radiation Technicians, Senior X-Ray Technicians, Senior Radiation Technicians, Supervisors of X-Ray Technician Services, and those employees in restored Rule X titles who are serving in positions equated thereto; and No objections having been filed by the parties within the time provided therefor,

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby: FOUND, that Electrocardiograph Technicians, Electroencephalograph Technicians, X-Ray Technicians, Radiation Technicians, Senior X-Ray Technicians, Senior Radiation Technicians, Supervisors of X-Ray Technician Services, and employees in restored Rule X titles serving in positions equated thereto, employed by the City of New York, constitute a unit appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining; and it is further ORDERED, that certifications MR-10-66 (Electrocardiograph Technicians), MR-2-67 (Electroencephalograph Technicians, Radiation Technicians, X-Ray Technicians, and Senior X-Ray Technicians), and MR-16-67 (Senior Radiation Technicians and Supervisors of X-Ray Technician Services) be, and the same hereby are, merged and consolidated, subject to existing contracts, if any.
