City, 6 OCB 21 (BOC 1970) [Decision No. 21-70 ( Amend Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION In the Matter of ASSOCIATION OF BUILDING INSPECTORS DECISION NO.21-70 -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED DOCKET NO. RU-105-69 PUBLIC EMPLOYERS DECISION, ORDER AND AMENDED CERTIFICATION On January 3, 1970, Civil Service Forum, Local 300, S.E.I.U., as intervener, filed a motion for reconsideration of the Decision and Certification heretofore issued herein to Association of Building Inspectors (Decision No. 1-70). The motion seeks to exclude from said certification the title of "Senior Pipe-Laying Inspector." Oral argument on the motion was heard by the Board on March 11, 1970. Association of Building Inspectors did not appear at the oral argument but previously had advised the Board, by letter, that it had no objection to the exclusion of Senior Pipe-Laying Inspectors, as requested by Local 300. Upon consideration of the motion papers, the letter from the Association of Building Inspectors, and the oral argument, the Board issues the following Order and Amended Certification:

RU-105-69 2 Pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby 0 R D E R E D , that the motion for reconsideration filed herein by Civil Service Forum, Local 300, S.E.I.U., be, and the same hereby is, granted; and it is further 0 R D E R E D , that certification No. 1-70, be, and the same hereby is amended by excluding therefrom employees in the title of Senior Pipe-Laying Inspector; and it is hereby C E R T I F I E D , that Association of Building Inspectors is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, subject to existing contracts, if any, of all employees in the title of: Boiler Inspector Senior Boiler Inspector Inspector of Low Pressure Boilers Construction Inspector Senior Construction Inspector Elevator Inspector Senior Elevator Inspector Hoist and Rigging Inspector Senior Hoist and Rigging Inspector Housing Construction Inspector Senior Housing Construction Inspector Housing Inspector Senior Housing Inspector Heating and Ventilating Inspector Senior Heating and Ventilating Inspector
