RU-157-70 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE The parties herein having agreed that Welders and Welders (Electric) constitute a unit appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining; And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board of Certification that a majority of the employees in the unit have demonstrated their desire to be represented by Local 15, International Union of Operating Engineers, AFL-CIO, by having authorized check-off of dues in behalf of said organization: NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby CERTIFIED, that Local 15, International Union of Operating Engineers, AFL-CIO, is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Welders and Welders (Electric) employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification.
