RU-126-69 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE A self-determination election having been conducted in the above matter on March 10, 1970, pursuant to the Direction of Election herein (Decision No.8-70), and it appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a majority of the Foremen Plasterers casting valid ballots in said election have voted in favor of inclusion in a combined collective bargaining unit of Plasterers and Foremen Plasterers, and no objection having been filed within the time provided therefor; And the parties having agreed to determination of representative by check-off, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board of Certification that a majority of the employees in the unit have demonstrated their desire to be represented by CITY EMPLOYEES UNION, LOCAL 237, INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, by having authorized check-off of dues in behalf of said organization,

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby CERTIFIED, that CITY EMPLOYEES UNION, LOCAL 237, INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Plasterers and Foremen Plasterers employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Office of Collective Bargaining.
