RU-165-70 NEW YORK STATE NURSES ASSOCIATION -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS DIRECTION OF ELECTION The parties having agreed to the conduct of an election in an appropriate bargaining unit consisting of Head Nurses, Supervisors of Nurses, and those Assistant Superintendents of Nurses whose sole responsibility is the performance of instructional duties in a school of nursing in the Department of Hospitals; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby DIRECTED, that an election by secret ballot shall be conducted under the supervision of the Board of Certification or its agents, at a time, place, and during hours to be fixed by the Board, to determine whether the above-mentioned employees, employed by the City of New York (except in the Department of Health) and related public employers under the jurisdiction of the Office of Collective Bargaining, who were employed during
