RU-1051-89 ENGINEERS, LOCAL UNION 15, AFL-CIO, and NEW YORK CITY LOCAL 246, SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION, AFL-CIO, Intervenors, -and-CITY OF NEW YORK, Employer. ------------------------------------ x Certification of Representative An election having been conducted in the above matter on April 23, 1991, pursuant to the Direction of Election herein (Decision No. 7-91), and it appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a majority of Metal Work Mechanics casting a valid ballot in said election have voted for representation by Local Lodge No. 5, International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers, AFL-CIO; and no objections having been filed within the time provided therefor; And Decision No. 7-91 having further provided that, in the event of such a vote Metal Work Mechanics should be added to Local Lodge No. 5's Certification No. 80-70 (as amended), covering Blacksmiths and Boilermakers.
Decision No. 10-91 2 Docket No. RU-1051-89 NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 80-70 (as amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the title of Metal Work Mechanic, subject to existing contracts, if any.
