RU-1027-89 -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK and RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS ------------------------------- x DECISION AND ORDER On January 3, 1989, Civil Service Technical Guild Local 375, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, filed a petition seeking to add Safety Specialist (including OTB) to Certification No. 26-78 (as amended), covering various engineering, scientific and related titles, among which are Safety Officer ( includin1g, OTB). No objections or interventions have been received, and the Office of Municipal Labor Relations has not replied to several requests for its position in this case. Our investigation shows that the petitioned-for employees share a community of interest with those covered by Certification No. 26-78 (as amended) and that accretion is appropriate. Accordingly, we shall grant the petition. ORDER NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby
DECISION NO. 7-89 2 DOCKET NO. RU-1027-89 ORDERED that Certification No. 26-78 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the title of Safety Specialist (including OTB), subject to existing contracts, if any.
