RU-1023-88 THE CITY OF NEW YORK -------------------------------------- x DECISION AND ORDER On November 16, 1988, District Council 37, AFSCME, filed a motion, pursuant to Section 2.19 of the Revised Consolidated Rules of the Office of Collective Bargaining, requesting that the new title of Associate Staff Audiologist be substituted for the certified title of Staff Audiologist in Certification No. 28-78 (as amended). No objections or interventions have been received, and the Office of Municipal Labor Relations has taken no position in this case. This request results from a reclassification recently promulgated * by the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation ("HHC"). Our investigation shows that the "old title" was deleted only in respect to HHC employees and that it continues to * Personnel Order HHC-088/30.
DECISION NO. 18-88 2 DOCKET NO. RU-1023-88 be a valid title, with an incumbent, in another agency under the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification. Accordingly, we shall not delete the "old title" from the pertinent Certification but only add the new title thereto. ORDER NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 28-78 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the title of Associate Staff Audiologist, subject to existing contracts, if any.
