The ballots were counted on July 19, 2011.
4 OCB2d 39 (BOC 2011) 2 The majority of employees casting valid ballots selected the Uniformed Firefighters Association (“UFA”) as their representative for collective bargaining. No party filed objections in the time provided by OCB Rule § 1-02(r). Accordingly, this Board terminates Certification No. 11-68, held by District No. 1 - Pacific Coast District, Marine Engineers’ Benevolent Association, AFL-CIO, and certifies the UFA as the exclusive bargaining representative of Pilots and Marine Engineers (Uniformed-Fire Department) in Certification No. 39-11. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law (New York City Administrative Code, Title 12, Chapter 3), it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 11-68 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, terminated; and it is CERTIFIED that the Uniformed Firefighters Association is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining for the bargaining unit consisting of the titles Pilot (Title Code No. 70312) and Marine Engineer (Uniformed-Fire Department) (Title Code No. 70316).
