City, 4 OCB 66) (BOC 1969) [Decision No. 66-69 (Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - x In the Matter of BRICKLAYERS NEW YORK EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Decision No. 66-69 -and-Docket No. RU-102-69 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - x CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE Elections having been conducted in the above matter on November 17, 1969, pursuant to an agreement for consent elections; and It appearing from the Reports Upon Secret Ballot, that a majority of the Bricklayers casting valid ballots in the election voted in favor of representation by Petitioner; and It further appearing that a majority of the Foremen Bricklayers casting valid ballots in said election voted in favor of representation by Petitioner and in favor of a combined bargaining unit with the Bricklayers; and No objections having been filed by any of the parties within the time provided therefor, NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby:
Decision No. 66-69 Docket No. RU-102-69 2. FOUND, that Bricklayers and Foreman Bricklayers employed br the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification constitute a unit appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining; and it is further CERTIFIED, that Bricklayers New York Executive Committee having been designated and selected as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining by a majority of the employees casting valid ballots in the election, said Bricklayers New York Executive Committee is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Bricklayers and Foremen Bricklayers employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Office of Collective Bargaining.
