RU-962-86 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - X DECISION AND ORDER On April 18, 1986, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, filed its motion herein, pursuant to ยง2.19 of the Revised Consolidated Rules of the Office of Collective Bargaining, to substitute the new titles of Public Records Aide, Public Records Officer, and Associate Public Records Officer for the reclassified titles of Assistant Archivist, Archivist, and Associate Archivist in Certification No. 46C-75 (as amended). The City's Office of Municipal Labor Relations states that it does not oppose this motion but recommends that the obsolete archivist titles not be deleted until they become vacant. Our investigation shows that there are still a few incumbents in the three archivist titles, thus supporting the City's position. Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 46C-75 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the titles of Public Records Aide, Public Records Officer, and Associate Public Records Officer, subject to existing contracts, if any; and it is further ORDERED that the titles of Assistant Archivist, Archivist, and Associate Archivist be deleted from the cited Certification when they become vacant.
