RU-960-86 RU-968-86 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - x DECISION AND ORDER On June 26, 1986, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, filed a motion (Docket No. RU-968-86), pursuant to ยง2.19 of the Revised Consolidated Rules of the Office of Collective Bargaining, to substitute the new title of City Parking Meter Service Worker for that of Parking Meter Collector in Certification No. 46C-75 (as amended), covering various clerical and related titles. The City's Office of Municipal Labor Relations, in a letter dated August 18, 1986, states that it does not oppose this motion. Our investigation shows that, although certain Parking Meter Collectors are to have their title changed to City Parking Meter Service Worker, the title of Parking Meter Collector has been retained "for present permanent incumbents only." Accordingly, in order not to deprive these employees of union representation, we shall not delete their title until it becomes vacant. In Docket No. RU-960-86, the parties have agreed, and

RU-968-86 it appears to the satisfaction of the Board, that the title of Paralegal Aide Trainee should be added to Certification No. 46C-75 (as amended). 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 46C-75 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the titles of City Parking Meter Service Worker and Paralegal Aide Trainee, subject to existing contracts, if any; and it is further ORDERED that the title of Parking Meter Collector be deleted from the cited Certification when it becomes vacant.
