RE-142-82 LOCAL 144, HOTEL, HOSPITAL, NURSING HOME AND ALLIED HEALTH SERVICES UNION, S.E.I.U., AFL-CIO, Respondent --------------------------------X DECISION AND ORDER On August 2, 1982, the Office of Municipal Labor Relations of the City of New York filed its petition herein, requesting the deletion of the titles of Assistant Bacteriologist and Bacteriologist from Certification CWR-23/67 (as amended), * on the ground that these titles are vacant and obsolete. Local 144, SEIU, the certified unit representative, has received due notice, and has not filed any objection. Moreover, our investigation confirms Petitioners allegations. Accordingly, we shall grant the City petition. 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE,pursuant to the Dowers vested in the Board of * This Certification covers a bacteriology, microbiology, and related unit, consisting of thirty-one titles.
DECISION NO. 42-82 2 DOCKET NO. RE-142-82 Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, is hereby ORDERED that Certification CWR-23/67 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting therefrom the titles of Assistant Bacteriologist and Bacteriologist, subject to existing contracts, if any.
