RU-811-81 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS --------------------------------X DECISION AND ORDER On May 15, 1981, District Council 37 AFSCME, AFL-CIO, filed its petition herein, seeking to add the title of Correctional Standards Review Specialist to Certification No. 37-78 (as amended), covering various social service and related titles. The City’s Office of Municipal Labor Relations, which had originally opposed this petition on the grounds of confidentiality/manageriality and inappropriateness of the requested unit, has now withdrawn its objections. As there is no longer any dispute regarding the status of the employees in this title or their unit placement and because it appears to the satisfaction of the Board that the requested unit is appropriate, and that accretion is proper, we shall grant the petition.
Decision Ro. 2-82 2 Docket No. RU-811-81 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 37-78 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is further amended to include the title of Correctional Standards Review Specialist, subject to existing contracts, if any.
