The Board amended the certification to delete the vacant title. (Official decision follows.) _________________________________________________________________ OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION In the Matter of the Certification Proceeding -between-THE NEW YORK CITY HEALTH AND HOSPITALS CORPORATION, Petitioner, -and-DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Respondent. __________________________________________________________________ ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATION On March 16, 2010, the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (“HHC”) filed a petition to amend Certification No. 46D-75, a bargaining unit represented by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO (“Union”), to delete the title Associate Bookkeeper (Title Code No. 405270) to reflect the reclassification of the title to Bookkeeper Level III (Title Code No. 405270). 1 Notice of this petition was given to the public and the Union. On April 2, 2010, the Union objected on the grounds that employees remained in the Associate Bookkeeper title. Our investigation shows that there are no employees currently serving in the Associate Bookkeeper title. 1 The Bookkeeper title is already represented by the Union in this bargaining unit.
