RU-814-81 -and- RU-817-81 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -X DECISION AND ORDER Case No. RU-814-81 concerns the title of Supervising Public Health Epidemiologist, and RU-817-81 concerns that of Associate P.H.E. The former title is now obsolete (Pers. Dir. res. #81-51), having been replaced by the latter. The title of the one incumbent has been changed from the former to the latter. Accordingly we shall dismiss the petition in RU-814-81. The parties hereto having agreed, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board, that the title of Associate Public Health Epidemiologist should be added, by accretion, to Certification No. 28-78 amended), presently covering various health, recreation and related titles, including Public Health Epidemiologist; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that the petition in RU-814-81 be, and the same hereby is, dismissed; and it is further

RU-817-81 ORDERED that Certification No. 28-78 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the title of Associate Public Health Epidemiologist, subject to existing contracts, if any.
