RE-119-80 RU-735-79 DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO ---------------------------------X CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE The parties hereto having agreed, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board, that the seasonal titles in Certifications 38A-78 and 38B-78 (as amended) 1 should be transferred to a new seasonal unit, consisting of those seasonal titles together with the new title of City Seasonal Aide; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 38A-78 be, and the same hereby is, amended by deleting therefrom the title of Chief Life Guard; and it is further ORDERED that Certification No. 38B-78 (as amended by Decisions 1-80 and 10-80) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting therefrom the titles of Life Guard, Seasonal Filtration Plant Operator, Seasonal Park Helper, Seasonal Parkman, and Playground Assistant; and it is 1 Certification No. 38A-78 covers a supervisory custodial, maintenance and related unit, consisting of 36 titles; and Certification No. 38B-78 (as amended by Decisions 1-80 and 10-80) covers the non-supervisory counterpart unit, consisting of 42 titles. Both of the cited Certifications are held by District Council 37.

RE-119-80 RU-735-79 CERTIFIED that District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all City Seasonal Aides, Life Guards, Chief Life Guards, Playground Assistants, Seasonal Filtration Plant Operators, # Seasonal Park Helpers, # and Seasonal Parkmen # employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Office of Collective Bargaining, subject to existing contracts, if any.
