RE-102-80 DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Respondent -------------------------------X ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATION On January 10, 1980, the office of Municipal Labor Relations of the City of New York filed its petition herein, requesting that the Board of Certification delete the specialty of Senior Aide Program in the title of Community Service Aide from Certification No. 37-78 (as amended) * on the ground that the Senior Aide Program employees in the title do not share a community of interest with other Community Service Aides because of the temporary nature of their employment and the specific type of Federal funding for their positions. Notice of this petition was published in The City Record on January 28, 1980, and posted on the employees bulletin boards on January 31, 1980. District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, the certified unit representative, has indicated that it has no opposition to [this] petition.” Accordingly, we shall grant the Citys petition. * This Certification covers a social service and related unit, consisting of approximately two hundred titles.
DECISION NO. 17-80 2 DOCKET NO. RE-102-80 ORDER NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 37-78 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting therefrom the specialty of Senior Aide Program in the title of Community Service Aide, subject to existing contracts, if any.
