RE-103-80 ASSISTANT DEPUTY WARDENS ASSOCIATION -----------------------------------X DECISION AND ORDER The parties hereto having stipulated, in writing, that Certification CWR- 65/67 (as amended by Decision No. 89-73) should be further amended to reflect the reclassification of the titles included therein; and our investigation having shown that the title of Assistant Deputy Superintendent of Women’s Prisons is obsolete and vacant; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification CWR-65/67 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting the title of Assistant Deputy Superintendent of Women’s Prisons and by including those employees in the new title of Warden (Correction) who are “assigned under direction to assist in the administration of a larger correctional facility or command by serving as Tour Commander and/or Officer-in-Charge of an assigned Department of Correction field command; to serve as the Executive Officer of a smaller facility or command; to serve as Training Officer at the Correction Academy; to serve in a command function over such activities as a central office unit or the Transportation Division;
Decision No. 12-80 2 Docket No. RE-103-80 or to, perform related work ... and are paid within the salary range for those assigned to the Level 1 Warden duties listed above....” and it is further ORDERED that the obsolescent title of Assistant Deputy Warden be deleted from Certification CWR-65/67 when this title becomes vacant, subject to existing contracts, if any.
