RU-685-78 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS ------------------------------------X DECISION AND ORDER On October 1, 1978, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO filed its petition herein, seeking to add, by accretion, the titles of Computer Specialist (Applications Programming),Computer Specialist (Data Base Administration), and Computer Specialist (Systems Programming) to Certification No. 46D-75 (as amended), covering various accounting, Municipal Labor Relations, which had originally opposed this petition on the ground that the petitioned titles were managerial/confidential”’ has now withdrawn its objection. As there is no longer any dispute regarding the status of the employees in these titles, and it appears to the satisfaction of the Board that the requested unit is appropriate, and that accretion is proper in this case, we shall grant the petition.
Decision No. 5-79 Docket No. RU-685-78 2. 0 R D E R NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 46D-75 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is further amended to include the titles of Computer Specialist (Applications Programming), Computer Specialist Data Base Administration), and Computer Specialist (Systems Program- ming)subject to existing contracts, if any.
