PBA v. DEA,24 OCB 29A (BOC 1979) [29A-79 (Amend. Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION ----------------------------------X In the Matter of PATROLMEN'S BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION DECISION NO. 29A-79 OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK, Petitioner, DOCKET NO. RU-718-79 -and-DETECTIVES' ENDOWMENT ASSOCIATION OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK, Respondent. ----------------------------------X AMENDED DIRECTION OF ELECTION In Decision No. 29-79, dated December 13, 1979, we directed an election among police employees working in the titles Field Training Specialist, Technical Skills Specialist, Crime Prevention Specialist, Community Affairs Specialist, and Field Services Specialist in order to determine the unit placement and collective bargaining representative of the employees. Because this controversy only concerns whether the employees are to be placed in the bargaining unit represented by the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association or in the bargaining unit represented by the Detectives' Endowment Association, we amend the order of election heretofore issued in this matter only to remove the choice on the ballot of representation "by neither" which was inadvertently included in the first "Directed" paragraph of Decision No. 29-79.
