Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION ----------------------------------X In the Matter of DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, DECISION NO. 2-79 AFL-CIO; CITY EMPLOYEES UNION, LOCAL 237, I.B.T.; and LOCAL 144, DOCKET NOS. RU-693-78 HOTEL, HOSPITAL, NURSING HOME AND RU-694-78 ALLIED HEALTH SERVICES UNION, S.E.I.U., AFL-CIO; jointly -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS ----------------------------------X ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATIONS The parties hereto having agreed, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board, that the titles of Beautician, Licensed Barber, 1 and Mortuary Caretaker should be transferred from Certification No. 46B-75 (as amended), presently covering various institutional service titles, to Certification No. 62D-75 (as amended) presently covering various medical, hospital and laboratory technicians, the former Certification being held by District Council 37, and the latter one being held by the three captioned Unions; And it further appearing that a majority of the employees in the units as amended herein have authorized check-off of dues in behalf of the joint Petitioners; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby 1 Beautician and Licensed Barber are the only classes of positions in Cert. No. 46B-75 for which licensing is required. Licensing (or certification) is required for a number of the classes in Cert. No. 62D-75.
2Decision No. 2-79 Docket Nos. RU-693-78 and RU-694-78 ORDERED that Certification No. 46B-75 (as amended by Decisions 47-75, 28-76 and 15-77) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting therefrom the titles of Beautician, Licensed Barber, and Mortuary Caretaker; and it is further ORDERED that Certification No. 62D-75 (as amended by Decision No. 32-77) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the cited titles, subject to existing contracts, if any.
