RE-85-78 -and-LOCAL 237, INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS and LOCAL 832 INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, and LOCAL 300 SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION, AFL-CIO, jointly ---------------------------------------X DECISION AND ORDER CONSOLIDATING CERTIFICATIONS On January 3, 1978, the Office of Municipal Labor Relations of the City of New York filed its petition herein, requesting the consolidation of the following certifications: I. Certification MR-15/64, held by Terminal Employees Local 832, I.B.T. Supervisor of Motor Transport II. Certification No. 18-74 (as amended by Decisions 29-76 and 22-77), held jointly by Local 832, I.B.T.; Local 237, I.B.T. and Local 300, S.E.I.U. Various supervisory institutional service titles. The affected Unions and employees have been notified of the pendency of this petition, and no objection has been raised. Our investigation shows that such a consolidated unit would be appropriate for collective bargaining purposes.
Decision No. 7-78 2 Docket No. RE-85-78 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification MR-15-64 and Certification No. 1874 (as amended) be, and the same hereby are, combined and consolidated so as to constitute one bargaining unit (to be cited by the present Decision Number), consisting of the titles set forth in the Appendix to this Order; and it is hereby CERTIFIED that Terminal Employees, Local 832, I.B.T.; City Employees Union, Local 237, I.B.T.; and Civil Service Forum, Local 300, S.E.I.U., AFL-CIO; are the joint representatives for the purposes of collective bargaining of all employees in the consolidated unit, subject to existing contracts, if any.
