RE-99-78 DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Respondent --------------------------------X DECISION AND ORDER On November 3, 1978, the Office of Municipal Labor Relations of the City of New York filed its petition herein, requesting the deletion of the titles of Drug Abuse Aide (CETA), Drug Abuse Specialist (CETA), and Equal Opportunity Aide (CETA) from Certification No. 37-78 (as amended by Decision No. 52-78) * , on the ground that these titles are vacant and obsolete. District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, the certified unit representative, has received due notice, and has not filed any objection. Moreover, our investigation confirms Petitioners allegations. Accordingly, we shall grant the City's petition. * This Certification covers a social service, business inspection, and related unit, consisting of approximately two hundred titles.
Decision No. 62-78 2 Docket No. RE-99-78 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 37-78 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting therefrom the titles of Drug Abuse Aide (CETA), Drug Abuse Specialist (CETA), and Equal Opportunity Aide (CETA), subject to existing contracts, if any.
