RD-5-78 LOCAL UNION NO. 3, IBEW, AFL-CIO -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS -------------------------------X DECERTIFICATION ORDER An election having been conducted in the above matter on June 2, 1978, pursuant to the Direction of Election herein (Decision No. 8-78), and it appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a majority of the Electrical Inspectors, Senior Electrical Inspectors, Supervising Electrical Inspectors, Principal Electrical Inspectors, Inspectors of Fire Alarm Boxes, Senior Inspectors of Fire Alarm Boxes, Fire Alarm Dispatchers, 1 and Supervising Fire Alarm Dispatchers, casting valid ballots in said election have voted against representation by Local union No. 3, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO; and no objections having been filed within the time provided therefor; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby 1 Although the cited Direction of Election also included employees in restored Rule X titles serving in positions equated thereto,” there are no longer any such employees in this unit.
