The affected unions and employees have been notified of the pendency of this petition. Local 375 has interposed no objection to this petition. The Research Scientists
Decision No. 26-78 2 Docket No. RE-90-78 Association has withdrawn its objection to this consolidation and has informed us, by letter dated May 15, 1978 that its membership has voted unanimously to merge with Local 375. Local 375 has interposed no objection to this action. Our investigation shows that the requested consolidated unit would be appropriate for collective bargaining purposes. 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification CWR-104/67 and Certification No. 34-77 (as amended by Decision No. 9-78) be, and the same hereby are, combined and consolidated so as to constitute one bargaining unit (to be cited by the present Decision Number), consisting of the titles set forth in the Appendix to this Order; and it is hereby CERTIFIED that Civil Service Technical Guild, Local 375, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all employees in the consolidated unit.
