RU-601-77 -and-LOCAL 300, THE CIVIL SERVICE FORUM, SEIU, AFL-CIO -and-PAVERS AND ROADBUILDERS DISTRICT COUNCIL, LABORERS’ INTERNATIONAL UNION, AFL-CIO -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK ---------------------------------X CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE An election having been conducted in the above matter on April 13, 1978, pursuant to the Direction of Election herein (Decision No. 3-78), and it appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a majority of the Highway Repairer Trainees casting valid ballots in said election have voted for representation by District Council 37 and its affiliated Local 376, AFSCME, AFL-CIO; and no objections having been filed within the time provided therefor;
Decision No. 18-78 2 Docket No. RU-601-77 And District Council 37 having subsequently requested that these employees be added to its Certification No. 461-75 (as amended), presently covering various parks and public works titles; and the City’s Office of Municipal Labor Relations having stated that it has no objection to such unit placement; and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board that such a unit would be appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 461-75 (as previously amended by Decisions 27-76, 21-77, 33-77, 2-78 -and 12-78) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the title of Highway Repairer Trainee, subject to existing contracts, if any.
