Summary of Decision: The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation filed a petition to amend City Employees Union, Local 237, IBT’s Certification No. 62C-75 to delete the title Senior Public Health Educator and add assignment levels to the existing title of Public Health Educator. OCB’s records were administratively amended to reflect the addition of the levels. The Board amended the certification to delete the vacant title. On February 26, 2009, the Director of Representation notified the parties that the Office of Collective Bargaining’s records had been updated to reflect the addition of Levels I and II to the Public Health Educator title. Our investigation shows that there are no employees currently serving in the Senior Public Health Educator title. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law (New York City Administrative Code, Title 12, Chapter 3), it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 62C-75 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to delete the title Senior Public Health Educator (Title Code Nos. 511350, 51135).
