RU-43-68 -and-DECISION NO. 38-68 The City of New York ---------------------------------------------- x DECISION AND ORDER The Association of Public Health Nutritionists, herein called Association, and Local 768, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, herein called Local 768, Jointly filed an application with the Board of Certification to transfer to Local 768 the certification previously issued to the Association as collective bargaining, representative of Nutritionists, Supervising Nutritionists and Principal Nutritionists (CWA 100-67; erroneously referred to in the application as 6NYCDL 33), employed by the City of New York. On June 7, 1968, notice of the application was published in The City Record together with notice that objections to the transfer must be filed within ten days of the date of publication. No objections have been filed. It appears from our investigation that the affiliation of the Association with Local 768 was duly approved at a membership meeting of the Association. Accordingly, the application to transfer the certification will be granted.
Docket No. RU-43-68 2 Decision No. 38-68 O R D E R Pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that the application to transfer City-wide Representation Certificate 100-67 to Public Health Nutritionists Chapter, Local 768, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, be, and the same hereby is, granted, and it is further ORDERED, that City-wide Representation Certificate 100-67, be, and the same hereby is, amended by substituting "Public Health Nutritionists Chapter, Local 768, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO" for "Association of Public Health Nutritionists" in said certification.
