RU-37-68 -and-DECISION NO. 30-68 THE CITY OF NEW YORK ------------------------------------ x CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE AND ORDER An agreement for determination of representative by checkoff having been executed by the parties herein, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board of Certification that a majority of the Department Library Aides employed by the City of New York have demonstrated their desire to be represented for the purposes of collective bargaining by DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, by having authorized checkoff of dues in behalf of said organization, And the parties having further stipulated that said unit should become part of the non-supervisory clerical unit for which Petitioner is the certified collective bargaining representative (CWR 52-67), NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the power vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby CERTIFIED, that DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Department Library Aides employed by the City of New York; and it is further ORDERED, that City-wide majority Representation Certificate No-52-67 be, and the same hereby is, amended to include the title of Department Library Aide.
