R-233-65 -and-DECISION NO. 27-68 THE JUDICIAL CONFERENCE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK ----------------------------------------- x DECISION AND ORDER On January 11, 1967, an application was filed with the New York City Department of Labor to transfer to Petitioner two certifications previously issued to Identification Officers Association as collective bargaining representative of (a) Senior Identification Officer and Principal Identification Officer (8NYCDL No. 2), and (b) Fingerprint Expert * and Identification Officer (8 NYCDL No. 3) employed by the Judicial Conference. The matter was transferred to the Board of Certification pursuant to Rule 13.13 of the Consolidated Rules of the Office of Collective Bargaining. On May 29, 1968, notice of the application was published in The City Record, together with notice that objections to the transfer must be filed within ten days of the date of publication of the notice. No objections have been filed. It appears, from our investigation, that the affiliation of Identification Officers Association with Petitioner was duly approved at a meeting of the membership of that association. The affiliation has been completed, and a majority of the employees in each certified unit has authorized dues check-off on behalf of Petitioner. Accordingly, the application to transfer the certifications will be granted. O R D E R Pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby, O R D E R E D, that the application to transfer to Local 1070, District Council 37, A.F.S.C.M.E., AFL-CIO, certifications 8 NYCDL Nos. 2 and 3, be, and the same hereby is, granted, and it is further * The title “Fingerprint Expert” has since been abolished.
