R-237-65 -and-DECISION NO. 26-68 THE JUDICIAL CONFERENCE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK ----------------------------------------- x DECISION AND ORDER On April 4, 1967, an application was filed with the New York City Department of Labor to transfer to Petitioner the certification previously issued to Association of Official Court Interpreters of the City of New York as collective bargaining representative of Interpreters, Interpreters (City Court), Interpreters (all specialties), and Court Interpreters (8 NYCDL No. 104), employed by the Judicial Conference. The matter was transferred to the Board of Certification pursuant to Rule 13.13 of the Consolidated Rules of the Office of Collective Bargaining. On May 29, 1960, notice of the application was published in The City Record together with notice that objections to the transfer must be filed within ten days of the date of publication of the notice. No objections have been filed. It appears from our investigation that the affiliation - Association of Official Court Interpreters of the City of New York with Petitioner was duly approved at a meeting of the membership of that association. The affiliation has been completed and a majority of the employees in the certified unit has authorized dues check-off on behalf of Petitioner. Accordingly, the application to transfer the certifications will be granted. O R D E R Pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby, O R D E R E D, that the application to transfer to Local 1070, D.C. 37, A.F.S.C.M.E., AFL-CIO, certification 8 NYCDL No. 104, be, and the same hereby is,
DOCKET NO.
