City, 18 OCB 29 (BOC 1976) [Decision No. 29-76 (Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION -------------------------------In the Matter of LOCAL 300, SEIU, AFL-CIO and LOCAL 237, IBT, and LOCAL 832 IBT, JOINTLY DECISION NO. 29-76 -and-DOCKET NO. RU-431R-74 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS -------------------------------DECISION AND ORDER On May 21, 1976, Local 300, SEIU, AFL-CIO, and Locals 237 and 832, IBT, jointly requested that the Board of Certification reopen Case No. RU-431-74, which had been dismissed previously because it was filed by only one of the joint certificate holders. The request also amended that petition to make it a joint petition seeking to add Supervising Laundry Workers to Certification No. 18-74, held jointly by the petitioning locals, and covering various supervisory institutional services titles. The City’s Office of Labor Relations “concurs with this request.” Accordingly, the Board has decided to grant this request. The parties hereto have agreed, and it appears to the satisfaction of the Board, that the title of Supervising Laundry Worker should be added to Certification No. 18-74. It further appears to the satisfaction of the Board, that all of the Supervising Laundry Workers have authorized check-off of dues in behalf of Local 300, SEIU, AFL-CIO.
Decision No. 29-76 2 Docket No. RU-431R-74 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by New York City the Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 18-74 be, and the same hereby is amended to include the title of Supervising Laundry Worker, subject to existing contracts, if any.
