RU-529-75 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS -------------------------------- x DECISION AND ORDER On September 12, 1975, City Employees Union, Local 237, I.B.T., filed its petition herein, seeking to add, by accretion, the titles of Warehouse Aide (EEA), Warehouse Aide (EEA-6) and Warehouse Aide (WREP) to Certification No. 62-69 (as amended by Decisions 57-70, 70-74, and 37-75), presently covering Assistant Stockman, Housing Caretaker, Warehouse Aide (CETA), and related titles. The Office of Labor Relations of the City of New York agrees that the “WREP” (Work Relief Employment Project) title should be accreted as petitioned but opposes that portion of the petition which requests "EEA" (Emergency Employment Act) titles on the ground that such titles "no longer exist." The City correctly points out that "The Board of Certification, in Decision No. 47-75, recognized this fact when it ordered the removal of all E.E.A. titles from their respective certified units." We agree in all respects with the City's position, and our order herein shall so provide.
Decision No. 55-75 2 Docket No. RU-529-75 O R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that so much of Case RU-529-75 as requests that the titles of Warehouse Aide (EEA) and Warehouse Aide (EEA-6) be added to Certification No. 62-69 (as amended) be, and the same hereby is, denied; and it is further ORDERED that Certification No. 62-69 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is further amended to include the title of Warehouse Aide (WREP), subject to existing contracts, if any.
