RE-57-75 DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, and RE-59-75 AFL-CIO, and its affiliated Locals, Respondent -------------------------------- x DECISION AND ORDER The petitions herein, in the aggregate, request the deletion of three titles from their respective certifications on the ground that these titles are obsolete. RE-57-75 seeks to delete the titles of Assistant Computer Programmer and Data Librarian from Certification No.37-72 (as amended), covering various computer programming, computer operation, and related titles 1 ; and RE-59-75 seeks to delete the title of Occupational Therapy Assistant from Certification No. 66-72 (as amended), covering various therapists and related titles. 2 1 Certification No. 37-72 (as amended) was later consolidated with other certifications to form Certification No. 46D-75. The latter, in turn, was amended by Decisions 47-75 and 48-75, which, respectively, deleted "EEA" titles therefrom and added an "LEAA" title thereto. 2 Certification No. 66-72 (as amended), was later consolidated with other certifications to form Certification No. 46F-75, which was likewise amended by Decision No. 47-75 to delete "EEA" titles therefrom.

Moreover, our investigation shows that the petitioned titles are vacant. Accordingly, we shall grant the City's petitions. O R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 46D-75 (as amended by Decisions 47-75 and 48-75) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting therefrom the titles of Assistant Computer Programmer and Data Librarian, subject to existing contracts, if any; and it is further ORDERED that Certification No. 46F-75 (as amended by Decision No. 47-75) be, and the same hereby is, further amended by deleting therefrom the title of Occupational Therapy Assistant, subject to existing contracts, if any.
