RU-511-75 THE CITY OF NEW YORK --------------------------------- x DECISION AND ORDER On June 5, 1975, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, filed its petition herein, seeking to amend Certification No. 77-73 (as amended by Decisions 62-74 and 31-75) by adding thereto the "title" of Public Health Epidemiologist. Although the Office of Labor Relations does not oppose this petition, our investigation reveals that the Health Services Administration requested the establishment of such a title more than a year ago, but this request has not yet been granted. Employees performing the duties intended to be assigned to this title are serving in the classified titles of Public Health Nurse and Junior Public Health Nurse, which are included in Certification No. 77-73 (as amended). Accordingly, we shall dismiss the petition, without prejudice to a re-filing if, and when, such a title is formally established.
