RU-471-74 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS -------------------------------- x ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATION Petitioner having requested amendment of Certification No. 98-73 (as amended), for which it is one of the jointly-certified representatives, by the addition thereto of Respiratory Therapist, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Board, that the title of Respiratory Therapist should be added to Certification No. 98-73 (as amended by Decisions 34-74, 57-74, 58-74 and 73-74), presently covering various medical, hospital and laboratory technicians, the cited Certification being held jointly by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO: City Employees Union, Local 237, I.B.T.; and Local 144, Hotel, Hospital, Nursing Home and Allied Health Services Union, SEIU, AFL-CIO; And no objection to the requested amendment having been received from either of the other jointly-certified representatives or from the City;
Decision No. 1-7-75 2 Docket No. RU-471-74 And it further appearing that a majority of the employees in the unit as amended herein have authorized check-off of dues in behalf of the joint certificate-holders; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that Certification No. 98-73 (as previously amended) be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the title of Respiratory Therapist, subject to existing contracts, if any.
