RU-473-74 DIETITIANS ASSOCIATION -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - X DECISION AND ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATIONS On October 15, 1974, District 1199, National Union of Hospital and Health Care Employees, RWDSU, AFL-CIO (hereinafter "District 1199") and New York City Professional Dietitians Association (hereinafter "the Association") requested the transfer of Certification No. 24-74, held by the Association, from that organization to District 1199. This Certification covers employees in the titles of Dietitian, Head Dietitian, Chief Dietitian, Senior Chief Dietitian, and Principal Chief Dietitian.

The affidavits of Ella Allen, President of the Association, and Jesse Olson, Executive Vice President of District 1199, which were submitted in support of the motion, recite that, on August 15, 1974 at an election duly called and held by the Association, the members present voted by secret ballot to merge with District 1199. The affidavits further recite that, upon the issuance of the requested transfer, the Association will cease to exist and will become a part of District 1199. Notice of this motion was published in the City Record on October 25, 1974, and posted on the Board's public docket as well as on appropriate employee bulletin boards. No objections have been received as of the date of this decision. Decision No. 65-74 Docket No. RU-473-74 3. 0 R D E R Pursuant to the power vested in the Board of Certification by title New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No. 24-74 be, and the same hereby is, amended so as to change the name of the certified representative therein to "District 1199, National Union of Hospital and Health Care Employees, RWDSU, AFL-CIO."
