RU-421-74 -and-OFFICE OF COURT ADMINISTRATION, STATE OF NEW YORK -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK, Respondent - - - - - - - - - - - - — - — - - - X ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATION On August 6, 1974, the Board issued its Decision and Order herein (Decision No. 38-74), finding "... that the inclusion of Confidential Attendants in 'Unit A' of Decision No. 44-73 would constitute an appropriate unit for collective bargaining," and providing that, "... since Local 1070 has submitted copies of dues check-off authorization cards by a substantial majority (76%) of the Confidential Attendants, we shall grant Local 1070's petition and issue a certification provided that the authorization cards are submitted to the employer for implementation within 30 days of this decision."
Decision No. 43-74 Docket No. RU-421-74 2. As Petitioner has complied with this proviso by submitting to the employer dues check-off authorizations in its behalf by a substantial majority of Confidential Attendants within the time allowed, we shall amend its certification accordingly. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that “Unit A" of Decision No. 44-73 be, and the same hereby is, amended to include the title of Confidential Attendant; and, as amended, such unit shall be cited by the present Decision number and shall consist of employees in the titles of Confidential Attendant, Principal Clerk, Principal Key Punch Operator, Principal Stenographer, Foreman of Laborers, Head Clerk, Chief Clerk, and Court Assistant, employed by the Unified Court System within the City of New York under the jurisdiction of the Office of Court Administration, subject to existing contracts, if any.
